John R. Fultz — Writer, Primordia

John R. Fultz lives in San Jose, California, where he teaches English Literature and writes fiction for magazines such as Weird Tales, Black Gate, and Dark Wisdom. His literary inspiration includes Lord Dunsany, Tanith Lee, William Gibson, Thomas Ligotti, and Darrell Schweitzer, not to mention Poe, Shakespeare, and a host of others. Mr. Fultz believes that comics and graphic novels are direct descendents of the ancient forms of literature, including the mythic saga and epic poem. He enjoys exploring the limitless potential of the sequential art medium. In a previous life, he made his living as a wandering storyteller on the lost continent of Atlantis.
